This looks like a great option for over landing. A little large with the stand, but well worth the flexibility and the option to get it up and out of the way. Let the annoying bugs get up about 8’ from where I am. Like the lighting options as well. Thanks, great review and well worth it. I’ll be adding this light to my lighting options.
I recently received my overlander and got to use it for the first time this past weekend while camping. The thing is awesome. 120 lightning, 90, selectable heights, detachable as a lantern, water resistant, solar and usb rechargeable. Best of all, it’s light weight and fits into a carry bag that takes up no room when packing…which is extremely important when camping and overlanding.
The light is amazing and is more than enough light when camping at night!
I saw an ad for this on FB and was a bit skeptical about the price,but when I got one, it was really worth it.

These lights are great , can’t wait to actually use them in the field, they are bright , extend pretty high and spread light all around. I also like how the light can be detached and use a ground level lantern.

The LightRanger is exactly what I was looking for – a well made LED light that is extendable that could replace my lantern(s). I love the option to light up certain sides. Nice & bright! Comes in handy in the garage, too. Highly recommended.
Great light. Does exactly what I thought it would do. It’s nice having the light up high casting a light over base camp rather than in your face.
